According to Mishin, yesterday (29 April) Zhenya and he were at the Ministry of Sport in Moscow to meet with the leaders of the national sport. Mishin was very happy to see young & slender Zhenya)) :-) They will measure new skates in St.Petersburg today. And then, Zhenya will go to Kislovodsk for general physical training. At the end of May, they will start working on new short and long programs in Moscow with the choreographer of the capital. And, they will go to the summer camps in Italy and Estonia. They will also leave for Sochi for the camp and the test skate. (right? :smu:sche_nie: ) Other students - Liza and Gachinsky are in South Korea now to take part in the show of Bestemyanova and Bobrin.

Фигуристы группы тренера Алексея Мишина – Евгений Плющенко, Артур Гачинский и Елизавета Туктамышева начали подготовку к новому сезону. О том, где и как готовятся спортсмены, какие специалисты привлечены к работе, рассказал знаменитый тренер Алексей МИШИН.

-- Алексей Николаевич, Евгений Плющенко начал ставить новые программы, Лиза Туктамышева и Артур Гачинский на сборе в Италии. Все верно?
-- Начну с того, что в этом году впервые за всю историю моей жизни в спорте я и мои ученики ощутили внимательнейшее отношение наших докторов, Федерации фигурного катания, специалистов Федерального медико-биологического агентства (ФМБА) к реальному изучению состояния спортсменов. Я получил очень подробные рекомендации относительно каждого из своих учеников, за что благодарю специалистов ФМБА, всех, кто участвовал в обследовании спортсменов, наших докторов сборной Виктора Аниканова и Ярослава Бугаева, потому что на основании этой ценной информации мы составили планы работы по общефизической подготовке. Женя проводил свой сбор по ОФП в Кисловодске. Лиза и Артур в настоящее время на юге Италии, в городе Бари.

-- Лиза и Артур немного рассказывали о новых программах, новых специалистах, которых вы привлекли.

Но в идеале для современного фигурного катания необходимо сочетание профессиональных хореографических ресурсов и «катательного» мастерства. И с этой целью мы привлекли к работе канадского фигуриста Джеффри Баттла.

-- Почему именно его?
-- Потому что Баттл (призер Олимпийских игр в Турине-2006) является одним из ярких представителей высокой культуры катания. Канадец не отличался виртуозным мастерством исполнение прыжков, однако при этом всегда считался одним из лучших по уровню катания. С этой точки зрения, с этих позиций я привлек Джеффри в качестве помощника для занятий с Женей, Лизой и Артуром.
Баттл приедет к нам в Италию. Правда, в силу востребованности и занятости пробудет недолго. Он планирует заниматься с ребятами в течение нескольких дней, пяти-шести. Думаю, что сочетание театральной хореографической культуры и мастерства владения коньком Джеффри Баттла даст тот результат, который мы должны показать в олимпийском сезоне.

-- Интересное сочетание.
-- Понимаете, ни один хореограф Кировского или Мариинского театра не обладает таким тонким чутьем конька, как Джеффри Баттл. В свою очередь, Джеффри Баттл не обладает такой высокой хореографической культурой, такой чистотой линий и единства разных составляющих, как профессиональные танцоры классического и современного балета. Заокеанские хореографы не являются профессиональными хореографами в нашем понимании этого слова. Подчеркиваю, именно в нашем понимании. Они слышат музыку громко, сильно, тихо, слабо, тонко, грубо… Они придерживаются «хореографии чувств». Хореографии, основанной на коньке, технике, громкости, ритме. А классические театральные хореографы ставят программы, исходя из произведения, эпохи, личности композитора, темы, идеи, духа… Но обе эти стороны, обе составляющие необходимы в фигурном катании. К сожалению, я выдаю свои профессиональные секреты, потому что, наверное, являюсь одним из старейшин нашего цеха фигурного катания. Но называться старейшиной – неплохо, потому что с одной стороны, накоплен опыт, а с другой, сохраняется ощущение молодости, новизны, постоянного поиска.

-- Это здорово. Вы затронули очень интересную тему, но позвольте вернуться к более прозаическим вещам. Как долго продлится сбор в Италии?
-- Месяц. С 17 июня по 17 июля.

-- С целью обкатки новых программ планируют ли ваши фигуристы летом участвовать в шоу?
-- Если говорить о Жене, то ему поступило море предложений. Но мы посовещались и в этом году согласились только на одно. Во второй половине июля тогда, когда надо будет что-то проверить, Женя отправится на шоу в Японию. И если все сложится, как мы планируем, то там впервые выступит на публике.

Евгений Плющенко: я не поеду в Израиль – врач, который меня оперировал, приедет в Россию

Олимпийский чемпион, двукратный серебряный призёр Игр Евгений Плющенко проводит ледовый сбор на федеральной базе «Новогорск» и занимается постановкой короткой программы. Об этом специальному корреспонденту портала TEAM RUSSIA-2014 Марии Воробьевой рассказал сам Евгений Плющенко.

- Я сейчас тренируюсь на олимпийской базе «Новогорск», - сказал Евгений Плющенко. – Работаю над постановкой короткой программы.

- Кто в нынешнем сезоне занимается постановкой ваших программ?
- Эту информацию я пока не озвучиваю. Сейчас идёт начальный этап подготовки, привычный тренировочный процесс, всё в норме. Да, я не прыгаю, но в настоящее время прыгать и не нужно, и нельзя.

- Когда планируете поехать в Израиль, на плановый осмотр после операции?
- Я не поеду в Израиль. Илья Пекарский – врач, который меня оперировал – приедет в Россию. Осмотр пройдёт в те же даты, в которые я изначально планировал посетить Израиле – с 11 июня.

- Каким образом станет понятно: можете вы прыгать или нет? Пройдёте какие-то тесты?
- Если честно, я не знаю. Врач приедет, проведёт осмотр, скажет, что нужно делать. Более подробно я на этот вопрос ответить не могу.

- Международный союз конькобежцев обнародовал участников серии Гран-при. Вы выступите только на одном этапе – в Москве. Для вас имело какое-то значение, на каком этапе вы будете стартовать?
- Я люблю выступать везде, но естественно, мне очень нравится кататься в России, у себя дома. И выступить на домашнем этапе Гран-при мне будет действительно очень приятно!

- Но этап будет всего один?
- Мне кажется, для «соревновательных тренировок» мне будет достаточно одного этого старта.

- В каких соревнованиях, кроме этапа Гран-при, вы ещё выступите в новом сезоне?
- Мы планируем несколько соревнований – как российских, так и международных. Среди них, кроме этапа Гран-при – и чемпионат России, и чемпионат Европы, и, естественно, если всё будет нормально, Олимпийские игры.

- 17 июня группа Алексея Мишина отправится на ледовый сбор в Италию. Вы также поедете на этот сбор?
- Да, безусловно. А после этого сбора у меня запланированы показательные выступления в Японии. Думаю, к этому времени уже будет готова новая программа – либо короткая, либо произвольная. И я буду накатывать её в шоу. :ya_hoo_oo:

- Вы готовите одну произвольную и одну короткую программы – или их будет несколько?
- Поживём – увидим (улыбается). Главное, работа сейчас идёт!

- Программа фигурного катания на Олимпийских играх теперь расширена – кроме личных соревнований будет ещё командный турнир. Физически реально за девять дней откатать четыре программы?
- Абсолютно реально выступить и в командном турнире, и в личном первенстве. Хорошо подготовленному спортсмену это по силам. Соревнования будут проходить с большой паузой: сначала состоятся командные соревнования, потом будет перерыв. Спортсменам не придётся выходить на лёд и выступать в личном первенстве уже на следующий день после командного. Можно успеть восстановить свои силы, привести себя в порядок. Я считаю, очень здорово, что в олимпийской программе теперь есть и командное первенство.

- Если всё сложится удачно, вы бы хотели выступить...
- ...конечно, я планирую выступать в Сочи и в командном турнире, и в личном зачёте!

SOCHI, Russia Within a half-hour of his withdrawal from the final event of his "amateur" career without even skating in it, it was no longer important why.

Evgeny Plushenko was done, and it was time to cast his place in history.

The best men's singles skater ever, as Scott Hamilton — one of the other candidates — insists? A product of the ubiquitous-television age, of which Dick Button, Hayes Allan Jenkins, Ulrich Salchow and Gillis Grafstrom, the great pioneers, could not take advantage? Somewhere in between?

If you want our opinion — and whether you do or not, you're getting it — Plushenko is the best male skater of postwar (the second big one) times. He seriously advanced the sport in both its major component areas, athleticism and artistry, which arguably only Kurt Browning and Brian Orser have done in that period. And he won one Olympic title and was runner-up in two others. Then, last weekend, he became part of, and inspired, the first gold medal squad in the team event.

Subtract that second gold if you like. That's reasonable; no one before him had the opportunity to win one. Even then he is the only male figure skater in the last 82 years to have medalled in three Olympics.

Figure skating, where half of the reason for its name (figures) no longer exists, is like other sports in its inability to fairly compare eras. The rules have changed so often and dramatically that there is little similarity between what even Jenkins and Button were doing in the 1950s and what the 18 quadruple-jumpers in the field of 30 in Thursday night's Olympic short program are now forced to perform. Mostly because of, originally, Elvis Stojko and Plushenko.

Plushenko may not have completely distanced himself from the rest of the pack through his entire career as the early stars did, but he also didn't have the compulsory figures to prop up his championship reign as they did. And there were a couple of years in there were he was unbeatable against fields that were markedly deeper than previous eras. Plus, his era was the era of injuries, because of the quadruple jumps and, in his case, the back-killing double Biellmann spins.

The 31-year-old Russian has been on the elite skating scene since the 1998 world championships, when he fell on a quad at one end of the rink, scrapped his program completely, skated to the other end and tried another. It was ridiculously comical and single-minded but competitive as hell. And he survived to win a bronze medal.

He was 15 years old.

Plushenko remained as competitive to the very end, when he warmed up for an event he should not have been in because a practice fall had aggravated and inflamed his surgically repaired back. The crowd which had come to see mainly him went cryptlike silent as he skated to the referee and withdrew, then slowly pushed his way off the ice. For the last time. Many fans left when the announcement was made.

"I'd like to say that this is not a tragedy what happened with Evgeny," said his coach Alexei Mishin. "I am working with him 20 years and he had many successes in that time, he was mostly a winner."

Mishin is three-quarters coach, one-quarter standup comic, especially to the Canadian media, whom he adores. While he is always certain to make sure that everyone remembers that Plushenko came from poverty and childhood illnesses in the far east of Russia, Mishin has always used humour in the telling.

He famously described an 11-year-old Plushenko arriving in St. Petersburg to train with him looking, " like a cheap chicken: green-blue, no fat, very ecological."

Thursday night he plunged dangerously into Political Incorrectness when he suggested that figure skating could be in the Paralympics and not only could his injured skater qualify but that he could join him because of his own body pains.

More seriously, and less objectionably, Mishin asked reporters, again mostly Canadian, "to be human" when assessing Plushenko's withdrawal and his overall career.

There will always be the arguments that Plushenko was overly arrogant on the ice, that he "front-ended" his programs with all the big tricks coming early, and that some of his choreography was essentially arm-flailing. Those are fair criticisms, but do not erode his overall stature, competitive results and stance that figure skating has to be a sport, so its athletes must take great chances. He did, right from the beginning and right to the end.

Mishin also knows that there will be multiple shots taken at his skater in the Russian media for not getting out of the way in time for the Russian skating federation to enter 18-year-old Maxim Kovtun, the actual Russian champion, in his place. But, Mishin explained, that had to be done by Monday morning, before Plushenko's back began flaring up again.

As with so many things in this vast, history-addled and complicated nation, there is a misty backdrop to that controversy. Plushenko's controversial inclusion as the only Russian male singles entrant here was completely about the team event, which the host country was desperate to win and which officials felt Kovtun was not mature enough to guarantee. Plushenko was brilliant in both ends of that new contest.

And European conspiracy theorists will likely insist that the Plushenko team waited until the last minute to ensure that Kovtun, a Moscow skater, was unable to compete. There is a long-standing division between the two major power centres in Russian skating: St. Petersburg and the Moscow club of politically favoured Tatiana Tarasova, who watched the Opening Ceremonies at Vladimir Putin's side.

Mishin said that most discussions on Plushenko's career, and the way it ended (he'll still skate show programs … and make a lot of money), will be positive. But he said there will be a minority who attack him, "because they are jealous."

"Please," he added, "do not be part of the minority."

Lì gli esercizi durano più dei nostri e alla fine vedi gente davvero stravolta dallo sforzo, che respira a bocca aperta. Eppure parliamo di gente allenatissima». A parte l' attrito che, sul ghiaccio, permette più che alla Scala, cos' invidia ai pattinatori su ghiaccio? «Posso dire che la mia curiosità verso questi atleti è somma, in generale, ma lo è ancor di più, nello specifico, per quanto riguarda la preparazione atletica. Noi ballerini siamo un po' lasciati a noi stessi. Decidiamo noi cos' è meglio per ognuno, invece sarebbe davvero interessante lavorare con questi preparatori del ghiaccio. I was blown away by Plushenko's Carmina Burana. He created a special, freezing, strained atmosphere. Costume and hairstyle fitted for this program. His performance with full of anxious mood was amazing.

During `Carmina Burana`, I felt like Zhenya stopped "talking" to the audience. Instead, he absolutely reigned over the people as a ruler. When he waved his arms, I was, so to speak, blown away by a shock wave. When he moved his finger, gravitational field arose. And I was like a squashed frog in a crater which the gravity made.

I searched reports from Shizuoka on twitter. People were talking the same sort of thing. For example, "Plushy was like the god" or "the dark lord", etc. It seemed that most audience sensed something like "he's not human being" feeling. I want to know his own intention. :-):

Miki Ando dedicated "Amazing Grace" to her colleague who is in deep sorrow now. The colleague was supposed to perform there together, but he couldn't, because of the loss of his loved one. No one mentioned who he was. But the Nagaoka audience knew it was Plushy. So, they cried and waved Russian flags for him and his mother.

Евгений Плющенко уже находится в Петербурге. Он отменил гастроли в Японии и прилетел накануне вечером, после сообщения о смерти своей матери. Об этом нашему телеканалу сообщил помощник фигуриста Ари Закарян.

- После продолжительной болезни, которой Женя сделал все возможное, и лечили всеми возможными способами, - сообщил Ари Закарян, - не удалось сохранить жизнь.

Сейчас фигурист готовится к похоронам своей матери. Татьяну Васильевну Плющенко похоронят в понедельник 13 июля.

Татьяна Васильевна скончалась на 59 году из-за неизлечимого онкологического заболевания. Именно она привела Евгения в большой спорт - в Волгограде находилась единственная в городе Школа фигурного катания. Несмотря на материальные сложности, Татьяна Васильевна привезла будущего олимпийского чемпиона в Ленинград, чтобы познакомить с знаменитым тренером Алексеем Мишиным.

Трагическая новость застала двукратного олимпийского чемпиона по фигурному катанию на гастролях в Японии. Фигурист отменил выступления и отправился в Петербург.

Его мать, Татьяна Васильевна, скончалась на 59 году жизни из-за тяжелого онкологического заболевания, от которого страдала несколько лет. Все это время Евгений Плющенко возил мать к лучшим врачам России, Европы и Израиля. Последние полгода она находилась в клинике «Согаз» под наблюдением ведущих специалистов. Медики сделали все, что смогли.

Как российские, так и заграничные поклонники уже принесли свои соболезнования фигуристу. Также известно, что похороны состоятся в понедельник на Сестрорецком кладбище. Они будут проходить в закрытом режиме, по-семейному.

- Женя категорически против огласки, поэтому выставим охрану. Он очень переживает, ведь мама была для него и тренером и вообще всем, - рассказала «Комсомолке» жена фигуриста Яна Рудковская. – Возможно, он вернется на лед после девяти дней. Будет ставить спектакли для Большого театра, как того хотела его мама.

Татьяна Васильевна сыграла большую роль в становлении сына как фигуриста. Еще в детстве она заметила в Евгении потенциал и отдала в школу фигурного катания. Даже в тяжелые времена, она поддерживала сына и отдавала последнее, чтобы он продолжал заниматься спортом и развивался. Именно Татьяна Васильевна познакомила сына с тренером Алексеем Мишиным, который на долгие годы стал спортивным наставником будущего олимпийского чемпиона.

I read it's important in Russia 9 days & 40 days after someone's death. девятины (9 days after) & сороковины (40 days after). Japanese have similar memorial services 7 days, 49 days (and so on...) after someone's death.

Теперь программы для двукратного олимпийского чемпиона Евгения Плющенко будут ставить руководитель балета Большого театра Сергей Филин и хореограф Юрий Посохов.
Sovsport.ru позвонил тренеру Евгения Плющенко Алексею Мишину, чтобы узнать подробности.

- Кому пришла идея сотрудничать с Филиным, - вопрос Мишину.
- Евгению.

- Почему он решил, что именно с этими хореографами надо сотрудничать?
- Потому что у Жени такая сильная собственная аура, что, как показал опыт работы Жени с другими хореографами, его индивидуальность оказывалась сильнее, чем задумки и идеи хореографа. Думаю, что выбор таких хореографов топ-уровня приведет к какому-то хорошему результату, - подытожил Алексей Мишин.

Сергей Филин недавно вернулся из Германии, где проходил курс лечения в связи с ожогом глаз.
Напомним, 17 января 2013 года неизвестный плеснул в лицо худрука кислотой возле его дома. Филину были сделаны несколько операций, а затем он отправился на лечение в Германию. Организатором по этому делу суд признал солиста Большого театра Павла Дмитриченко, который в декабре 2013 года осужден на 6 лет колонии строгого режима.
