Changing his style doesn't mean to change his personality, Evgeni has his own personality on ice and he will always have, Dimi explained very well why he needs a good choreographer. Regarding quads it's useless to jump them if they don't help him to win, he doesn't need to prove that he is a good jumper everybody knows it, that's why they called him "jumping machine", LOL, he can jump 4+4 and still lose. Just look at KVDP, he is the second man in history who jumped 4+3+3 in an international competition, so what? Was he on the podium, did he won something? It wasn't big deal at all! Evgeni isn't 20 anymore, he is 28 so he must find out how to skate at 28 and win, an expert will give him the solution. :mi_ga_et:

Do not try to confuse me - choreography and style are not the same! ::yaz-yk:

Although that "non-jumpers" call him "jumping machine" - this is not reason because he should to give up of quads - Plushy may have also and quads and "artistry"! :plush41: ... as long as he feeling, willing and can to jump quads - let's jump! :plush45:

Yes I speak about myself with we :)-(:

Actually mathematics say he should abandon quad combos only in Lp, at least 4-3 which is very difficult and kinds of worthless now, I never thought he should abandon quads, of course, not his weapon??? :bet_ment:

well...I love his quads...I love his style...He won sooooo much, I think he doesn't need to win at all costs! :co_ol:
I can understand his will to come back and win again, and again...but maybe now he just really wants to skate, and I hope he will, as longer as possible, because watching him is wonderful.... :plush31:

Right now he doesn´t need to abandon them, just the quad combos, like Dimi explained, but maybe in a few years skaters and ISU will find a way to completely annihilate the advantage of the quad so he must be prepared for anything, I don´t wanna see him losing again to lysaceks and hear people saying that the lysaceks are better skaters than him!!! :plush27: :plush43: :ze_le_ny: Vancouver was enough!
