Japan Open 2012 Plushenko FS StSq description

Postby Kudryavka » 16 Dec 2012, 15:56

sorry for my rough translation

- Described only Difficult turn
- R=Right, L=Left, F=Forward, B=Backward, I=Inside, O=Outside

- Red-colored text = Rotation to the right
- * = 3 consecutive turns

3:00 - RFI Twizle
3:01 - LFO Rocker
3:04 - LFO Counter
3:05 - RBI Twizle
3:07* - RBO Rocker - RFO Counter - RBO Loop
3:11 - RBI Loop
3:21 - LFO Twizle
3:22 - RFI Twizle
3:29 - RBO Twizle
3:31 - LFI Bracket
3:34* - RFI Bracket - RBO Counter - RFO Loop

This StSq includes 5 different steps/turns except Rocker in both (right and left) directions to get Level 4. In this competition, he got Lv4 but "LFO Counter" (3:04) and "RFO Counter" (3:07*) clearly became "Change Three". So I think it will be Level 3 in the official competition because it loses Counter to the right. Twizle (while he dropped upper body) was impressive.

He didn't compete for three years, but as soon as I saw him, I knew that there was a true Olympic Champion on the ice. - Takahiko Kozuka, Rostelecom Cup 2009
