7-10 ноября в Риге (Латвия) пройдёт международный турнир по фигурному катанию Volvo Cup. На нём впервые в олимпийском сезоне выступит олимпийский чемпион 2006 года, серебряный призер Игр 2002 и 2010 годов Евгений Плющенко. О готовности Евгения Плющенко к старту специальному корреспонденту портала TEAM RUSSIA-2014 Марии Воробьевой рассказал его личный тренер Алексей Мишин.

- Алексей Николаевич, Евгений Плющенко выступит в Риге, как вы и планировали?
- Да. Но мы сейчас едем в Ригу не на соревнования в обычном понимании этого слова – свою спортивную силу Женя показывал уже неоднократно. Но поскольку в прошлом году ему не удалось выступить на международных турнирах по полной программе, теперь нужно набрать необходимый уровень первой оценки за технику, чтобы соответствовать правилам Международного союза конькобежцев, и завоевать право выступать на чемпионатах Европы и мира.

- Насколько готовы программы?
- Постановки программ уже, конечно, завершены. У нас остаются две версии короткой программы, которые мы ещё будем проверять. А произвольная программа – попурри из лучших программ прошлых лет. Про вкатанность постановок говорить пока рано.

- Как оцените готовность Плющенко на данном этапе?
- Женя уже сейчас готов к хорошему спортивному результату. Но учитывая, что он пропустил большой соревновательный период – не выступал фактически 10 месяцев! – моей задачей было обязательно провести его через какие-то предварительные старты, на которых порой случаются самое непредвиденное. Если суммировать наши задачи на Volvo Cup – это, во-первых, выполнить квалификационный норматив по первой оценке, во-вторых, пройти две программы без травм и потерь. В принципе, Евгений сейчас исполняет на тренировках и четверные прыжки, и тройной аксель, причем качество этих прыжков – на «пятерку». Рассчитывать, что такой результат он покажет на первом же старте, было бы наивно – такой задачи мы перед собой просто не ставим. К тому же, сейчас еще только начало ноября, а апофеоз всего сезона нас ждет в феврале. Евгений идёт к основным стартам спокойно, чувствуя свою ответственность и сохраняя боевой настрой.
