Roughly, what they have been translated ... he speaks quietly and I do not understand him well - something that people approach him and get acquainted with him, thinking that he is Plushy...
Does anyone understand more?
In any case, Bush just was not "impressed" by the comparison with Plushy
First Bush was asked, if it was difficult for him to move to Petersburg. He came there with his mother, his father stays in Chelyabinsk. Some journalist said: it’s like Plushenko. Other added: no, Plushenko came alone, without his mom. (Everyone LOLed because everybody always mentions Plushy when talking to Bush)
After that there were questions about Bush’s resemblance to Plushenko. Poor boy said that he’d like to write some answers on his back: «yes, he looks like Plushenko», «no, he is not Plushenko’s brother». Another usual question is about his strange surname)))
Then he was asked about his skating which resembles Plushenko’s style as well. Does he often watch Plushy’s videos? Bush replied that his idol is Yagudin.
Everyone laughed and joked. Someone said that Menshov also looks similar to Plushenko and Gachinsky is his clone)))
Well, it's always difficult when you get compared all the time with other people in your profession, specially with someone who had set such a high standard as Plushy, and of course the boy has the right to admire and follow the steps of anyone he prefers, but, IMHO, and after seeing the video of his performance, he's not bad of course, but instead of "not being impressed" by the comparison, he should WISH he was really comparable to Zhenya.
He was kind of "meh" to me, too slow at some points, very low jumps and in general nothing very remarcable or memorable from his presentation. How old is he?, I mean, Zhenya was truly impressive since a very young age, he catches your eye and never let you go, showing a strong, great and unique personality and winning attitude, something the 90% (or even more) of skaters out there lacks of.
Seems like the strongest point of comparison for the media is the so called physical resemblance, wich, by the way, is not that big for me. Plushy is waaaaaaay cuter....what?, "hopeless Plushy-fan" me?, of course not!
