Well, I can completely understand that. I am just now recovering from a two and a half year of living in hell. :ny_tik: I am so very thankful that it is going to improve. I always say, it can only get better from here. I have been at the bottom of the barrel so to speak. You can only go up! :plush47:

Thanks! This is my username on most of the sites that I visit. A friend started calling me that and it has stuck ever since. All in fun. Hope you are well today! Take care! :plush45:

It's so sweet to have people here sending their best wishes for my family and I. We really appreciate it!

I really hope that she can work hard and get better; if Alexander Abt can walk again when every doctor told him he wouldn't, then surely my mom can get the full range of motion in her arm! I try to be optimistic most of the time. I usually have good intuition too. In the words of the great Monty Python: "Always look on the bright side of life!"

It's sad seeing my mom like this though. But at least I am able to help her by offering the help of the two ladies who help me with my own disability. We've gone to the store for her and also cooked for her and helped her with various other things. It's good because no one else is here except my stepfather and he leaves early in the afternoon, so there's no one but me and my caretaker of the day to help her out. I have an older brother and and an older sister, but my brother works, and my sister... who knows why she won't come. She offered to on Sunday, but hasn't shown up. I'm not surprised; neither she nor my brother are there when mom needs them. *sigh*

Haha 66th post coming up. 66 is the jersey number of one of my other athletic role models, Mario Lemieux.

It is Friday and I am so very glad. It was a rough week. I always get a smile once I enter the Zhenya zone. :plush45:

Well,It is Saturday here :hi_hi_hi: For the past 12 years,Zhenya has been one of the best parts of my life..Glad he is back..
Yesterday I did some advanced pilates exercises. I've been doing more than a year, but I didn't do any for the last two months,so now every muscle in my body is aching.I can hardly walk.It will take some time for my body to get used to the old routine again..
But Evgeni is super talented.Look at him after 3 and a half years break... :bra_vo:

You are right! After taking three and a half years off, he showed up everyone at the games. I have started walking. We are moving to another place now and I will be sore too. I feel your pain! :plush45:

Well, just when it seems things might be ok here, some bad news.

My sister is in the hospital with dehydration. Heaven knows how that happened.

I went to the eye doctor's today, and saw a specialist for the first time. We discovered that I have cataracts on both of my eyes. They're not serious yet, but will be someday. They can easily be removed but the idea of surgery scares me. But right now, he said removing them wouldn't really improve my vision, so surgery seems redundant.

I jokingly said to the doctor, "As long as I can see till March of 2014, I'll be happy! I want to see Plushenko win his second Olympic Gold since he missed it this year!"

Does anyone here have a Facebook? I do, and I would love to hear from any of you. It would be great to chat live...I do understand that most of us are in major time differences. I would gladly accommodate your time zone. I also am upset since they suspended Evgeni's You Tube account. Not sure if it was official, but all the same, I had him under my "favorites" and today, it was gone. GRRRR!!! :plush43: My name in Facebook is Rebecca Harborth Roberts. I live in San Antonio, Texas. I hope to hear from you. Hugs and peace!
