I do not agree - he
not should to change his style, than only the number and order of the elements in the choreography
In the choreography of David??
If Plushy wins or almost wins with this choreographer, with another one he would have won by 50 points. He has too much talent to stay in one choreographer...So far he wins because of his personal talent, i would not say because of choreographer.
While Lysacek won because of his choreographer and NO talent. His choreographer did a pretty good job to persuade people that he is that good.
Now imagine a talented skater like Plush with a super CoP choreographer, he would need zero effort to dominate.
A choreographer does not change your style and your personal appeal to audience, he changes your program to compete with the current rules, maximazes your stengths and hides your drawbacks, and gives you fresh ideas for tricks and stuff to please audience and judges. He helps you tell the story better.
Look at Joubert, he skates this year to Bethoven with different style of usual and everybody took notice.
Carmelego and Dickson or Ly Bourne for Plush and I would die from happyness. Especially Carmelego
