He was a tenor soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre. He sang Lensky in Eugene Onegin! But now he sings mostly pop songs.

Thx for your answer. I looked for him on Youtube. I saw it when he sang with Montserrat Caballe!!!! Why he don't sing in the Bolshoi? Bolshoi Theatre is awesome!!

I have no idea if he himself decided to leave the theater, or the theater did not renewed the contract with him. But you know pop singer earns more than an opera singer, may be that is the real reason

Totally off topic question but I don´t know where to post it, it came to my mind after watching some of Plushy´s videos. Why isn´t Evgeni trying an Ina Bauer? Do you think he would break his back completely ? He doesn´t need to do it exactly like Shizuka Arakawa
