We happened upon a YouTube video from Russian TV and while we're not sure what they are saying, it looks like 2010 Olympic silver medalist Yevgeny Plushenko is back training - in two sports?

While we are not sure what they are saying, it looks like 2010 Olympic silver medalist Yevgeny Plushenko is back training. Even if he's just having a little fun, it would not surprise us to see the 2006 Olympic champ pop up again on the international scene as early as next season.

In mid-November, Plushenko watched three of his countrymen compete at Cup of Russia. We're guessing he was under-whelmed with the highest finisher, his training mate Artur Gachinski, placing sixth. The winner, Tomas Verner, did not attempt a quad, and Patrick Chan and Jeremy Abbott rounded out the podium with five falls between them.

While his eligibility is still up in the air - technically he is ineligible, but the ISU did allow him to participate in the Japan Open in October - with the 2014 Games in Russia, it is hard to imagine a situation where Plushenko would not skate if he wants to.

Of course he should skate if he wants, he is a legendary athlete, cannot say the same about your level of journalism.

So, when does Evgeni come back ? !! I don't understand really the Russian, so does the video of 30/11/2010 say about his coming ? Does the ISU accept he comme back???
Please, answer to me quikly and simply because I Am French and I don(t understand very welle Russian or sometimes English !!

"I'm anyway planned after the Olympics to rest one year and then continue with my career. But from next season, I plan for three years to perform and ride up to the 2014 Olympics...."

Mishin:
"Plushenko's status we will restore at the end of the season...

The ISU's word is last (in one of their sessions), but since the ISU & Russian Skating Federation - with "joint operations" led Plushy to "commit an violation of ISU rules" ... I think it's just a formality
