Кстати,я тоже сразу об этом подумала.Может кто нибудь сделает красивое оформление? Таня и Аня,девчата сможете?Вы здорово это делаете ..Или может ещё кто умеет.
Только надо до 7 марта успеть. А я бы распечатала на листе А4 на плотной фотобумаге.

Year later, Lysacek still riding whirlwind

"For Lysacek's marketability to remain strong, it's important he continue competitive skating,'' said Olympic marketing expert Bob Dorfman of Baker Street Advertising.
"Even competing and not medaling at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics is better than not being there at all. He certainly would go into 2014 as one of America's most recognizable athletes, highly hyped and featured in many corporate marketing campaigns. The drama of Lysacek trying to repeat as gold medalist would be one of the biggest stories of the Sochi Games.'' (poor Lysacek, they sell him as Ken doll)

"I don't know what I want now, and I need to figure it out because I'm the kind of person that has to have a goal,'' Lysacek said. "It could be something completely different from Sochi, but I still feel a pull toward the Olympics, and I want to leave that option open.

"There's no pro skating now, so I can't say I will stay around one more Olympics and then go into a really lucrative pro career. I have to move on. I'm either going to do it at 25 or at 29, which would be scarier and even more difficult.''

Lysacek joked last year about worries over the reception he would get in Sochi, given the controversy surrounding his Vancouver victory over 2006 gold medalist Evgeny Plushenko of Russia. What unsettles Lysacek more is the idea the general U.S. public would figure another gold was "a walk in the park.'' (no, it will be eaiser than in Vanocuver)

"I would have to be OK with not winning again because my chances are the same as they were last time, when I didn't expect to win,'' he said. "My reason for going back would be the fulfillment in the process of getting there.''....

Lysaceks quadless win was a disaster. The ISU made so many rule changes to try to prevent someone like Lysacek from defeating someone like Plushenko ever again. It is like the ISU looked at what Lysacek said was his strategy and tried to build roadblocks to quadless Olympic success. Quadless Olympic success is bad for the sport. It was total regression. Three Olympics in a row were with men who did quads – Lysacek stopped that and regressed the sport. First they removed a step sequence from the short program and made one in the FS level one only. They raised values of quads. They reduced the penalty of failing on a quad. They reduced GOE for triple jumps. It is really interesting that Lysacek who says he can never do a quad again is saying this stuff about returning. I mean the facts are that his win was unacceptable because of its regression and the rules now are totally anti-Lysacek in so many ways! His non-quad ally Patrick Chan can now do three quads a competition!

I don't want you to die of curiosity. Of course, you know very well the story with a toy. And Irina's trip to St.Petersburg has given me an opportunity to "correct" the situation. I had an idea and shared it with Irina. She has agreed to help me. And I bought another toy, not identical, but very similar, also representing a pup of Baikal seal, symbol of Lake Baikal (Irkutsk is just in 70 km from this great lake) and sent it by mail to Irina. She passed my gift to Zhenya. That's all. Now I am quiet.
