Если Женя ищет новые идеи и образы для любительских программ и собирается выступать в Сочи, то нужен НОВЫЙ Женя.
Нужен новый подход к программам, и новое отношение в подготовке к соревнованиям.

Сейчас действительно нет времени для ошибок, и возможно поэтому Женя обратился ко всем его поклонникам за советом. Возможно он понял, что это его последний шанс в большом спорте, а после этого наступит жизнь как у всех...

сегодня смотрела Парад Победы...и люди 65 лет назад совершили огромный подвиг...а на многих из них сейчас грустно смотреть.

Получается что только в труде счастье!

Помните показательный номер в Внкувере, вот там был новый Женя, было что то другое (надрывное), новое и сразу всех зацепило.
Возможно и лирика и драма, но это должна быть классика! и мощное и надрывное, как говорит Акелла.
Олимпиада в России в Сочи, нужен свой композитор, как свой Пётр Ильич Чайковский

I think "L'accordeoniste" of Edith Piaf to be very dramatic music.

I believe it is obvious to everyone that Evgeni has an amazing artistic diversity.
He can be lyrical and heartbreaking (Je suis malade), he can be classical and ballet (tribute to Nijinski), he can be funky and dance (Michael Jackson medley 2002) and he can also be funny and sarcastic (Sex Bomb).
This multi-facetted artistic expression touches a different string in everyone's heart and awakens different feelings according to personality, life experiences and cultural background. To put it in simple words we are more inclined towards one particular show or one style of performance because at the end of the day, we are different people with one thing in common: love for skating and for Zhenya.
Since April I have seen some wonderful ideas and musical suggestions and I am more or less fascinated by most of them.
But finally, which way to go??
The classical graceful poetical gliding dance across the ice, the funky innovative up -to- date powerful and dynamic performance, the soulful touching sophisticated theatrical je suis malade explosion????

I want to suggest a piece by Antonin Dvorak: Rondo for Cello and Piano in G minor, Op. 94.
It contains slow, melancholic parts, but also a very lively gleeful part in the middle. The whole piece is very rhythmic and has an easy to remember theme.

Very well put. I would hate to be in Evgeni's shoes...having to choose from all of the wonderful ideas. I am completely enamored of his artistry and it is extremely difficult for me to even come up with ideas. Nevertheless, he is so versatile and chameleon-like that I am certain whatever he chooses will be breathtaking.
