Спортивные достижения во славу России - это моя религия. Для меня это не просто слова, это суть всего, что я делал и делаю в спорте. Нарушив кодекс профессиональной этики журналиста, Журанков оболгал и оскорбил не только меня, но и всю мою команду,включая гениального тренера Алексея Мишина, замечательных помощников, моих поклонников в России и по всему миру.Факт настолько отвратителен и запределен, что я не намерен оставить его просто так.В конце концов, есть закон, есть суд, в котором я и буду отстаивать свое достоинство спортсмена и человека."

Well, what can I say about it... I'm especially bitter, aware of the fact that Andrey Zhurankov @AZhurankov, pretending to the title of a sports journalist, which in itself should mean a certain level of professionalism, could understand all the mendacity which he told on Russian channel EUROSPORT 2 about me as a athlete and person, that is, he deliberately insulted my honor, dignity and reputation.
Sport - it's my life. Sporting achievements in the name of the glory of Russia - this is my religion. For me, it's not just words, it is the essence of all that I did and do in the sport. Violating the code of ethics of the journalist, Zhurankov slandered and insulted not only me, than also my entire team, including a genius coach Alexei Mishin, wonderful assistants, my fans in Russia and around the world.
Fact is so disgusting and transcends, that I'm not going to leave it just like that. In the end, there is a law, there is a court, in which I will defend my dignity of athlete and person.

Выскажу своё личное мнение по поводу этой мерзкой ситуации.А мерзкая она потому,что подобные высказывания позволяет себе российский комментатор в адрес российского-же спортсмена. С такими "друзьями(внутренними) и врагов(внешних) не надо.Я никогда не слышала,что-бы те-же канадские, или американские комментаторы позволяли себе подобные высказывания в адрес своих спортсменов и это вызывает уважение,,прежде всего,к стране.Вместо того,что-бы поддержать Плющенко и пожелать ему скорейшего выздоровления после сложнейшей операции,Журанков поставил под сомнение наличие самой операции.Удостовериться в том,была-ли операция,он мог за 15 минут,связавшись с информированными людьми,но,видимо,цель,в данном случае,была совсем другая.Он оболгал не только Женю,но и всю его команду.Думаю,что против Жени опять началась травля,как перед Ванкувером,интересно только,кто заказчик,свои-же,или внешние"доброжелатели".Теперь о пиаре.Такой пиар Плющенко не нужен,его пиар-его жизнь в спорте и спортивные достижения.В данном случае ПИАРИТСЯ НА ИМЕНИ ПЛЮЩЕНКО САМ ЖУРАНКОВ!Подобные действия не должны остаться безнаказанными.Считаю,что в данном случае ФФКР тоже не должна оставаться в стороне.Тот-же условный Журанков в следующий раз может пройтись своим словесным поносом и по другим российским спортсменам.
А тем,кто сейчас радостно пишет комментарии против Плющенко,желаю,что-бы такой Журанков в следующий раз не прошёлся подобным образом по их любимым спортсменам А то ведь "личное мнение",основанное на домыслах и слухах можно высказать,например,о Ламбьеле,Жубере,Лайсачеке,Ягудине,Чане и других .
Жене желаю скорейшего и полного выздоровления и,по возможности и ситуации, не реагировать на провокации,эта,видимо,не последняя.Бог в помощь!!!

... this post is with Sovsport article, which already then - partially denied some "informations" from this origin article by: "informed source from the world of the Russian figure skating"

He violates the ethical code for journalist nevertheless, since:

1. He is commenting on 4CC competition when he made such comments. Plushy's situation has nothing to do with 4CC, what he said there is purely gossip thing. Is he a real man?

2. He can have his opinion of course but when he sat in that booth as a commentator, he represent the image of the station, if Russia is in the competition he might even represent image of the country. He is not there because who he is as a man, but because he is journalist from EUROSPORT. Therefore, to say what he said is very unprofessional and unethical;

He later gave an interview saying that he deliberately did such thing to provoke such reaction from Evgeni and Yana (http://www.sovsport.ru/news/text-item/587163), this is just outrages, with that interview alone, he should be sued.

But in my opinion, if in his comments he hinted that Channel 1 is involved in this faking the evidence, Channel 1 should also sue him for slandering their professionalism and ethical standards.
