According to Russian Wikipedia, his name can be spelled in Russian as Юдзуру Ханю :-)

Thanks Cekoni for the translation. Actually I am very interested in what he would say about pair competition yesterday since the results were unexpected to some extend.

Evgeni was saying like "our pairs have good chances of winning medals" and now "Sport is unpredictable. Any athlete, even a very strong..."

- С интересом продолжаю следить за чемпионатом мира. Но пока результаты нашей команды не радуют. После короткой программы спортивная пара Базарова и Ларионов - четвертые, Волосожар и Траньков - восьмые, а Кавагути и Смирнов вообще на 11-м месте. Вчера слышал, что тренер Кавагути и Смирнова Тамара Москвина с грустью сказала после проката: «Ну что, собираем вещи!»

Не ожидал, если честно, потому что все ребята очень талантливые и сильные спортсмены.
Мне-то как раз казалось, что в парном катании у нас точно будут медали.
И вдруг падения. Причем сразу у трех пар. Что же произошло? Ребята расслабились. Конечно, в первую очередь, виноваты спортсмены.
Ведь тодес - это не самый сложный элемент. Просто ребята потеряли бдительность и перестали относиться к простым элементам с правильной позиции.

Ну что поделать, это чемпионат мира - очень сложные соревнования, когда нервы на пределе. Что ж, теперь у наших ребят выход один: на произвольной программе собраться с силами и откататься достойно. Хотя теперь очень мало шансов, что у наших парников будут медали. С другой стороны, в спорте возможно все. Многое будет зависеть и от того, как будут кататься спортсмены из других стран. Это непредсказуемо. Наша задача - бороться за каждый элемент. А там судьи будут смотреть, давать призовые медали или не давать.

Сегодня выступают мужчины с короткой программой. Не знаю, будут ли у России медали. Опять-таки все зависит от качества проката. Мне самому интересно, буду высматривать будущих соперников.
Очень переживаю за наших одиночников, потому что конкуренты у нас очень сильные. Тот же Патрик Чан, к примеру.
