Live play-by-play coverage: 2012 Skate Canada ladies' short program: http://www.examiner.com/article/live-pl ... rt-programTRIPLE-TRIPLE COUNT: 8 attempted (Osmond toe-toe, Gold flip-3toe, Shelepen lutz-toe, Tuktamisheva toe-toe, Makarova toe-toe, Gedevanishvili lutz-toe, Murakami toe-toe, Suzuki toe-toe), 2 clean (Osmond, Makarova)
Akiko Suzuki JPN - triple toe-triple toe (at least underrotated), triple lutz (hangs on), cool little RBO hydroblade going into her flying camel, double axel - TES 26.17, PCS 28.95, SP SCORE 55.12
Kaetlyn Osmond - 2012 Skate Canada short program
Kanako Murakami JPN - starts off with a step sequence and double axel, then a flying camel, wow, really back-loading the program with the big elements, triple toe-triple toe (possibly underrotated, heard the blade turn a bit, I think), triple flip (underrotated, two-foot) - TES 27.70, PCS 28.51, SP SCORE 56.21
Elene Gedevanishvili GEO - triple lutz-triple toe (possibly underrotated), triple salchow, double axel (just scrapes the free foot down, shouldn't be much of a deduction, if at all) - that one was definitely a surprise! - TES 31.48, PCS 29.32, SP SCORE 60.80
Ksenia Makarova RUS - triple toe-triple toe (very confident), triple loop, waltz jump (completely slipped off the edge for her double axel takeoff) - that's a definite look of shock - TES 30.19, PCS 28.37, SP SCORE 58.56
Amelie Lacoste CAN - double axel, triple flip (fall, possibly underrotated), triple loop-double loop - TES 27.84, PCS 26.97, FALL -1.00, SP SCORE 53.81
Elizaveta Tuktamisheva RUS - triple toe-triple toe (possibly underrotated, fall out, hand down, likely counted as a fall), triple loop, double axel - not quite the spark that she had last season, maybe it was the fall? - TES 29.32, PCS 26.78, FALL -1.00, SP SCORE 55.10
Polina Shelepen RUS - triple lutz-triple toe (fall into the boards, underrotated, didn't get a great check out of the lutz), double axel (might have been underrotated), triple loop (fall) - huge jumps, unfortunately those falls were all over the ice - TES 25.18, PCS 23.00, FALLS -2.00, SP SCORE 46.18
Caroline Zhang USA - triple loop-double toe, triple flip, double axel - great way to recover from that Nebelhorn placement! - TES 27.67, PCS 25.30, SP SCORE 52.97
Gracie Gold USA - triple flip-triple toe (underrotated, fall out, hand down), triple lutz (nice), double axel (fall, slipped off the edge on the takeoff ... surprised she got that jump all the way around) - TES 27.53, PCS 25.66, FALL -1.00, SP SCORE 52.19
Kaetlyn Osmond CAN - triple toe-triple toe (nice!), triple flip, spread eagle into double axel - so much energy, fantastic skate - TES 33.21, PCS 27.35, SP SCORE 60.56
