I dont like this journalist, with sycophantly introduction and questions ... Chan as usual - half the interview talking normally, in the second part - "coming to the surface" his true nature and insults

I perfectly agree with you cekoni. Chan always smile, looks like to be kind with everyone... But I don't believe him.
In the last world championship in Torino (I was there) after men FP, everyone is going home, also judges. But Chan, before to go, went to judges to say hi to them, shake hands and talk a little with them. Of course the way he use to do is not the real reason because he's the judges'favourite skater (that's my opinion) but....it helps, isn't it? Above all it helps when he wasn't able to do quads...

That´s exactly what I´ve noticed yesterday when I´ve watched 2011 men´s ceremony. When the technical controller and the referee were congratulating the medalists, Chan was very happy, they were very familiar, look at the smile on his face when he saw the technical controller, maybe she´s from Canada? :ne_vi_del: :plush38:

Really? Interesting, I dont know that :plush38: ... but what are we now wonder :)-(: - when Chan already before the 2010 Olympics said that Lori Nichol praised him to the ISU judges during her's (officially organized by the ISU) seminars:
"what is good skating, and what is not"? :ps_ih: ... to the same ones judges, which was on Olympics and now on Worlds, and etc... :kli_ny:

... while she was and Lysacek choreographer, as well and coach and choreographer to Chan on Olys ... in every country, this is called: "conflict of interest" - only the ISU does not seem that :ze_le_ny:

P.S... btw - do you know that current judge's score system for a single skaters, imagined a Canadian Ice Dance judge? :sh_ок: And about what we then spoke here - about the "Ice dance single skating"? :ps_ih:

Takahashi has knee surgery

Former world champion Daisuke Takahashi underwent surgery Thursday to have a bolt removed from his right knee and sources said he is expected to be able to leave the hospital in about a week’s time. Takahashi, who failed in his bid to defend his title and finished fifth at the world championships in Moscow last month, had the bolt inserted during a major operation to repair ligaments he tore in the knee in October 2008.

He returned to win the bronze medal at last year’s Vancouver Olympics and the gold at the world championships in Turin weeks later, and had delayed having the bolt removed. Takahashi had planned to retire after this year’s world championships but he decided to continue his skating career through the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

The 25-year-old finished fifth in Moscow having been forced to stop in the middle of his free program to fix his skate boot after a heel screw came off.

By the way Cekoni do you know where can I find more information about this? Who is this Canadian Ice Dance judge and who gave him the task to design the system? :-):
