Dark Star, Otto Rehagell is a good trainer but he shouldn't have placed Samaras as his main goal man
The guy was alone with the ball and only two argentinians.....and he didn't score!!!

Hm, I´m not an expert at all. If you say that it´s certainly correct :plush45:
It seems that Germany did win because at the moment many honking cars are driving along the road near my house.
I watched only the beginning of the match: very aestethic - black guys in white dresses/white guys in black dresses and two boys in red and blue.
(That is all I can contribute to football discussions :-) )

Hello all. I am leaving for vacation for a few days. Going to go to the coast/Gulf of Mexico for a mini holiday. Sadly, where we are going does not have Internet access I am told. :plush27: :plush30: I will be suffering withdrawals from all of you and the Plushy photos. Have a wonderful rest of the week and an even better weekend everyone! :son-ce:
Hugs!

Enjoy your mini-holiday, Doll!! Don't worry, the forum's not going anywhere - Plushy, on the other hand, is going to Japan, but you can read about that when you come back :mi_ga_et: As for the photos, you can always use your imagination ::yaz-yk: Or simply print one and stick it on the wall of the place you're staying - and you can always leave it there after you come back, so that the next visitors can also enjoy the sight :-)

Anyone watching the football game between Brazil and Portugal? I was cheering for both of them (because my family comes from both countries), but now the game's just getting too violent for my taste...what's up with men?! Geez, take your testosterone to the boxing ring or something...!!!

Yes, it's been months that I've been reading things about the crisis in Greece - some months ago I went to a lecture about economy, and the theory of the teacher there is that Greece would be pushed to make dramatic cuts (in benefits, rights, employment, etc. etc.) in order to continue being part of the European Union - and face all the population anger because of those -, or it'd have to declare bankrupcy and leave the EU.

The good thing is that you guys seem to be very combative people, I just LOVED to see a picture in a magazine that showed a big banner in the Acropolis, saying something like "Enough!! Let's unite". Of course, the left wing is very problematic in many aspects and it has some people with bad intentions as much as the more conservative wing, but I hate how right-extremism is growing scarily...I think it's revolution time plush48 :du_el:

Last year I wanted to go to the Greek islands on a cruise...but my mother is so scared of boats! LOL So I couldn't go...but I will one day!!
SoSol, SORRYfor this belated response. But there seems to be a mini-holiday epidemic in our forum. I am also on a mini-holiday in Kefallonia and just got on the net.
As to our economic news it quite like the speaker you saw described it: we are very near to getting bankrupt and all Greek citizens and working people are trying to deal with that both practically and psychologically. It's BAD!! :kli_ny:
I can understand why your mum doesn't want to go on a cruise. I am not very keen on boats either...However, Greece is worthit!! You will love it! i don't want to sound like a tourist commercial but try looking into some sites that give info about Santorini for example and you will see what I mean..
Last thing: I have decided who I am supporting in this Mundial: VIVA BRAZIL!!! :plush28:

Oh, I was rooting for Greece soooo much yesterday!!!!!!!!! As you know, Argentina is our main rival... :plush43: But I think Brazil won't win this time. Italy and England seem to be very weak, too...I'm not sure who the winner will be.

The weather is still sucky today. Less cold, though...

Ok Dark Star just mentioned it because Rehagell is German and he helped us win the Euro 2004 in Portugal! :bra_vo:

Aysu, I recently moved to a new place and I can understand how you feel. :a_g_a:
It is hard to get your life in the same rhythm at first and even ergonomically you can't get simple stuff done like you used to. You try to make...coffee and you open the wrong drawer to get a spoon for instance.Silly things but it gets on your nerves. Not to mention more important things like neighbours, friends e.t.c.
IT WILL WORK OUT FINE!!!
We are here to back you up: the Plushketeers!! :plush41:
all the best

Then what are you doing on the net if you're on a mini-holiday??? You should be enjoying it, woman!! :mo-ro_zi_vo:

Sorry about my ignorance, but where is Kefallonia?

I'm also sorry to hear the situation is that bad in Greece, I wish that speaker wasn't right! :ny_tik:

I know Greece is worth it, it's the one place I'd go on a cruise if I had the choice!!! I dream of Santorini.... :plush47:

Oh, I'm not sure you should be supporting Brazil!!! Our coach didn't bring the best players, he keeps screwing up (for example, he doesn't remove a player from the field even if he sees that the situation with that player is tense and there are big chances of said player being expelled from the game - like it was the case the other day - thankfully today he acted differently, let's see if he's learnt...), and the players who are there just don't seem to want the title bad enough :-( Our next game is against Chile, and they are playing well enough, unlike our team! I wouldn't bet on our victory...oh well, at least it's better to lose for Chile than to lose to Argentina :plush43: ::yaz-yk: Plus, I also think Brazil won't win because the next Cup (which will be the same year as Sochi, by the way!!) is going to be here. If Brazil doesn't win in 2014 there'll be riots like you can't imagine!!! LOLLLLLL
