Patrick Chan CAN - Take Five - quad toe-triple toe (hits the boards on the triple toe, fall), triple axel (hand down), steps into triple lutz - I don't think I've ever seen anyone crash into the boards quite like that before, whoa - TES 44.19, PCS 43.44, FALL -1.00, SP SCORE 86.63

Daisuke Takahashi JPN - quad toe (two-foot, likely underrotated), triple axel (nice), steps into triple lutz-single toe - great program, as usual, overrotated that triple lutz and couldn't put a real combo after it, that's going to be pretty costly - TES 35.10, PCS 41.39, SP SCORE 76.49

Jeremy Abbott USA - triple flip-single toe, triple axel (nice), steps into triple lutz-triple toe - I have no idea how the panel is going to call that first jumping pass, he was about to step out of the jump and then really did a single toe, so that second combo could be completely invalidated - TES 40.33, PCS 42.33, SP SCORE 82.66

Michal Brezina CZE - triple axel (nice), triple flip (turn out)-triple toe, steps into quad salchow (fall), really musical step sequence, kinda fizzled out on that combo spin at the end - TES 38.80, PCS 37.46, FALL -1.00, SP SCORE 75.26

Javier Fernandez ESP - quad toe (smooth), triple lutz (turn out)-double toe (completely off-axis on the lutz, I'm surprised he even landed it), triple axel - wow, if he can only get his head around those non-quad/triple-axel elements - TES 42.19, PCS 39.07, SP SCORE 81.26

Yuzuru Hanyu JPN - quad toe (fall out, hand down), steps into 3axel (beauty), triple lutz-triple toe - there's a nice musicality about him, but part of me just wishes he skated to music that wasn't so melodramatic - TES 43.26, PCS 36.07, SP SCORE 79.33
