Hi Girls! I love all your work very much! I felt so inspired looking at what everyone has created that I wanted to make my own pencil sketch of Zhenya! My scanner is old and doesn't work very well but hopefully the quality won't be too poor. I know this isn't any masterpiece. Evgeni's features are so unique and this was my first time drawing him. Hopefully the next one(s) will be better! If I improve enough, I'll try making some paintings of him. It's been a long time since I drew anything but cartoons so I need to practice first.

Thank you, Vera, for your magic trick! He is nice and small now - a much more managable size! But I see that my old scanner has somehow stretched his head a little bit! Uh oh. Can you fix THAT too?? Well, maybe a new scanner is in my future - if I want to put my artwork on-line. I know this is off-topic too but how do I thank people on this board?? I can't figure it out.

Thank you very much! I am so encouraged now. It was a long time since I am drawing anything serious - mostly just cartoons for children's books. I worried I lost my skills and was reluctant to post my drawing. But you make me feel new confidence! Thank you for your honesty. I appreciate all your comments - especially for Zhenya's eyes in my drawing. His eyes are such an unusual shape. I worried I may have failed to capture that special look of his. But you are a fan and you would instantly notice if the eyes were wrong! I am reassured now. Thanks!!! I'm so inspired that I want to start work on another drawing right away!
