I really have fallen in love with the idea of this program. I feel that somehow it still doesn't quite fit the sort of "pretty", well-balanced, no-extremes, no-madness aesthetics the ISU seems to promote, but frankly, one of the things I love about Evgeni is that he can do these things and "go against the trend" from an artistic point of view. I've seen people finding the music, composed of three different pieces, strange. Just for myself, I feel that there is internal logic to the idea, but I do think the music editing, as it is now, is maybe still a little bit rough....Of course, I am not a musician or anything, and I'm also certainly not suggesting that Evgeni and his team "should" do things any one way or another, but I am wondering what would be the effect, if some parts of the music gets re-written a little to bring out the coherence a bit more? (Well, Evgeni has a great understanding of music, and he is close to many musicians, so I am sure he will do what he feel is best there, too.)

Kurt Browning is really intolerable. As a long time skating fan, I don't need to be taught anything. I watch what I like to watch, and have my own standard as to what is magic skating.

I followed skating pretty closely during 2002-2006, Jefferey Buttle never impressed me. Artistry does not equal to sugar-coated feel-good marshmallow programs. Artistry is about innovation, taking risks, experimenting, free expression, pushing boundaries and expanding people's horizons. If I want to watch popcorn program, I would rather rent a chick flick.

His remarks just showed the "little people" inside of him. No wonder that he was never able to rise to the big occasions.

false alarm, he is praising Plushy's jump. But it is a little misleading though.......

What? I cannot believe Kurt Browning said that publicly :ps_ih: . So Canada starts their propaganda this early.

Buttle is good (but to me he is so IJS friendly, as a result boring) but no need to bring down Plushenko for this. They are different skaters with different styles. We can watch ice dance for beautiful skating skills.

False alarm. Sorry Browning.

He is praising Plushy for the amazing jumps. :plush45:
Go to his original post to see why. Here the cheering sign from his cannot be displayed. :-)
