know why I entered that US Figure Skating group in Facebook. I think it was just to vote for Plushy, really, because the discussions there aren't worth it, and there are just way too many Plushenko haters around. Time to leave that place...

Both lower seeds were victorious in the latest round of voting, as No. 6 Irina Slutskaya made a late push to oust No. 2 Evgeny Plushenko, and No. 5 Xue Shen and Hongbo Zhao bounced No. 1 Ulrich Salchow. Slutskaya and Shen & Zhao will meet in the fourth round.

Кто-нибудь знает, кто проводит эти голосования и на что они влияют в итоге ? Сравнение Плющенко / Слуцкая, считаю некорректным, женщина должна соревноваться с женщинами, а мужчина с мужчинами. А не является-ли целью таких голосований столкнуть своих, так сказать, разделяй и властвуй ? Я ещё могу понять Плющенко/Ягудин, Плющенко/Лайсачек, там кофликт налицо, но это :kli_ny:

Кстати, я пробовала голосовать, но ничего не получилось.

Мне кажется, надо поддержать теперь Иру Слуцкую, она в своё время тоже натерпелась от несправедливого судейства!
К тому же она сейчас ждёт второго малыша! Ира, вперёд :bra_vo:
