When they asked the Russian if the result was fair he answered "ask judges". Plushy´s interview- If you risk, you jump a quad and the other doesn´t but you lose, you can´t possibly be satisfied, these rules buried the quad...."
Then they talk about the medals ceremony and they describe the medalists "a happy bronze medalist, the Japanese DT, an overjoyed American, the OGM, and a silver medalist trying to hide his disappointment. The Russian and the American didn´t talk to each other at all. The podium was establishing the death of quad jump"

Плющенко находится в хорошей спортивной форме - тренер Мишин

Российский фигурист Евгений Плющенко поддерживает свою спортивную форму и в действительности собирается выступить на Олимпийских играх в 2014 году в Сочи, заявил тренер олимпийского чемпиона Алексей Мишин.

Плющенко летом 2010 года был лишен любительского статуса за участие в ледовых шоу без санкции Федерации фигурного катания на коньках России. На протяжении сезона-2010/2011 28-летний спортсмен неоднократно говорил о желании восстановить этот статус, а также о намерении успешно выступить на Играх-2014 в Сочи.

"Женя сейчас находится в хорошей форме, - отметил Мишин в разговоре с корреспондентом "Р-Спорт". - Он регулярно участвует в шоу, где исполняет все тройные прыжки. С возрастом у спортсмена снижается предел его функциональных возможностей, но Плющенко, я уверен, в ближайшие годы сможет остаться на уровне, необходимом для реализации обязательств, взятых в отношении успешного выступления на Олимпиаде в Сочи".

В конце января Плющенко обратился в Федерацию фигурного катания на коньках России с просьбой направить петицию в Международный союз конькобежцев (ISU) и восстановить его в любительском статусе. По словам Мишина, он и его ученик в настоящий момент ожидают ответа от ISU.

"Мы поступили в соответствии с необходимым политесом, - подчеркнул специалист. - Теперь слово за Международным союзом конькобежцев".
